Certificates for the admission of vehicles to the carriage of certain dangerous goods: the validity period has been changed
For the transportation of fuel and explosive substances, organizations must have the appropriate permits. In particular, obtaining certificates of admission of vehicles to the transportation of certain dangerous goods. These documents are issued at the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The term of their validity today is 1 year.
Only in 2023, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued and extended the term of more than 40 thousand 800 certificates for the transportation of dangerous goods.
Previously, if the validity of the certificate for the transportation of dangerous goods expired during the martial law, it was automatically extended. This document could be used on the territory of Ukraine during the martial law and for 90 days after its abolition. The introduction of such regulatory changes was necessary to establish cargo transportation for critical infrastructure and support of servicemen.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 828 of August 8, 2023, as well as Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated September 07, 2023 No. 743 recognized as invalid, Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated March 17, 2022 No. 194. In this regard, the extension of the validity of certificates for the transportation of dangerous goods during the martial law has been canceled.
To obtain the relevant document, the organization or carrier contacts any convenient regional service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Specialists check the conformity of the design and special equipment of the vehicle. The certificate is issued for all vehicles EX/II, EX/III, FL, AT, MEMU categories N and O, which have successfully passed mandatory technical control and are suitable for the transportation of dangerous goods.
