Festive concert and opening of the Christmas tree: St. Nicholas Day was celebrated in the medical center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Today, December 6, in one of the medical centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there was a festive concert and the opening of the Christmas tree on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day. Soldiers who were wounded at the front joined the event and are currently undergoing rehabilitation.
On the eve, representatives of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs visited the hospital, who decorated the Christmas tree and presented the fighters with amulets in the form of small icons that will serve as reliable protection for the heroes.
The toys that decorated the Christmas tree are also not ordinary, they were made by children from different parts of Ukraine with their own hands.
“Here are the hands, souls and hearts of children from Lviv, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Ternopol and other cities of Ukraine. We sincerely thank you all and wish you good health and may the next year be victorious. It is thanks to you that we feel that our country is united and we will not back down in any case and will continue to fight for our freedom,” said Natalia Kazakova, Head of the Department of Military Patriotic Education and Sports of the Directorate of Vocational Training of the DONS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In turn, the head of the medical center Ivan Yavorsky thanked the Ministry of Internal Affairs for this initiative and said that it inspires the fighters not to surrender and continue to fight:
“Personally, I want to wish us a quick victory so that next year, together with our fighters, we will celebrate our victory. I also want to thank the children who took the initiative in creating New Year's toys for our heroes. In addition, great respect to our defenders, thanks to whom we can now work and celebrate Nicholas, Christmas and New Year.”
