Events under the Ukrainian parliament are classified as hooliganism, threats or violence against law enforcement officers and obstruction of a journalist's professional activity. As a result of the violation of public order, 63 participants of the action were delivered to the police department, 38 of whom are entrepreneurs. The police established their personal data and released them. During the investigation, the actions of these persons will be given a legal assessment, and therefore they will be held administratively or criminally liable.

As we reported yesterday, during the event, the participants of the action behaved aggressively, tried to break through the border of the police and enter the territory of the Verkhovna Rada. At the same time, they staged a push, used tear gas, burned firecrackers and smoke sticks, threw stones and other objects at the law enforcement officers.

The demands of the police to stop the illegal actions were not responded to. So, in order to stop the offenses, law enforcement officers forced out the participants of the action and sent the most active to the police department.

As a result of the clash, 18 police officers received bodily injuries, including fractures, closed traumatic brain injuries and chemical burns to the eyes. Also, service 103 received three reports of bodily injury claims of three participants in the action. According to doctors, one woman who was in the crowd of protesters was diagnosed with a fracture of the forearm and three ribs.

In addition, on the page of the event organizers on the social network, information was published that one participant of the action was killed and taken away in an unknown direction. This information is not true and is refuted after viewing video surveillance cameras. The man, who lost consciousness, was given first aid by representatives of the police and the National Guard, after which he and his friend left the scene of the action on their own.

After the clash, 63 active participants of the clash near the Verkhovna Rada were delivered to the cave administration by the police. Law enforcement officers established their personal data, and then found out that 38 of them are natural persons-entrepreneurs, another five were entrepreneurs, but stopped their activities, the rest are not entrepreneurs. After conducting priority investigative measures, the actions of these persons will be provided with legal qualifications.

According to the facts of the events near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, investigators initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 (hooliganism) and Part 2 of Art. 345 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In addition, in the evening the police received a report that in the territory of Mariinsky Park, the participants of the action surrounded the film crew of the central TV channel, pushed the journalist, tore out the microphone and prevented the live broadcast. According to this fact, the information was included in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 1 of Art. 171 (Obstruction of the legitimate professional activity of a journalist) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
