Sumy region: two policemen killed and four wounded as a result of Russian shelling
This was announced on his official Telegram channel by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
“The investigation team went to document the consequences of the arrivals on the farm building. And at this time the enemy struck again. Aim artillery at law enforcement officers. The bodies of two police rescuers retrieved from under the rubble. We sympathize with the families of the dead. We grieve together with you,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a post.
In addition, four other investigators were injured. They are currently being provided with medical care.
“The police do not leave civilians even in the hottest spots. Constantly risking their lives, remaining true to the Oath. And today's tragedy proves that these are not just words,” wrote Igor Klymenko.
