Russian soldier who shot unarmed Irpen resident and tortured civilians to be tried

The defendant is charged with committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 1 of Art. 438, Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 438 Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the articles provides for up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
