The attacker will spend 2 months in prison without the right to post bail. The issue of choosing a precautionary measure for the second defendant is being resolved.
Recall: On the night of April 20, in Gaysinsky district of Vinnytsia region, police officers stopped for inspection of an unknown car. Two men who were inside opened fire on police officers. A 20-year-old policeman died from the wounds received, his partner received injuries. A police operation was introduced on the territory of Vinnytsia and Odessa regions.
Thanks to the efforts of operational services, the attackers were detained.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
