The court chose precautionary measures for persons who planned mass riots on the territory of Ukraine
Such a decision today, February 1, was made by the Pechersk district court.
Recall that on January 30 in Kiev, police detained a group of people who planned mass riots in the center of the capital.
For the organizer, the court chose a precautionary measure - detention without the possibility of posting bail.
The same precaution is assigned to the second defendant.
For the duration of the investigation, those suspected of planning mass riots will remain in custody. Detainees were informed of suspicion of attempted mass riots (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Art. 294 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The current legislation for organizing mass riots provides for liability - imprisonment for up to 8 years.
