Assault brigade of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Kara-Dag”: raise the flag over the Crimea
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has started the formation of assault brigades “Guard of Offensive”, of which volunteers can become a part. One such unit is the Kara-Dag Brigade.
Since the full-scale invasion of Russia, the soldiers began to perform combat tasks. They defended Melitopol, Molochansk, Tokmak, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka and were able to stop the attack of the overwhelming forces of the enemy in the directions of Vasylivka — Zaporizhia and Tokmak — Orikhiv.
Thanks to the use of modern methods of combat by the personnel of the brigade, the destruction of six enemy aircraft (four SU-25 aircraft, two K-52 helicopters), two UAVs and missiles, as well as armored vehicles and enemy manpower was confirmed.
