The capital's explosives engineers and cynologists are demining the de-occupied Kharkiv and Kherson region
Kiev police officers as part of the consolidated squad were sent to clear the regions of explosive objects. After all, every mine neutralized is the saved lives of dozens of our people.
Explosives specialists and cynologists of the Kyiv Police Chief as part of the consolidated detachment of the National Police of Ukraine, together with colleagues from other areas, continue to work on the detection and disposal of ammunition in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.
Currently, they are working on a direction for operational demining of Kharkiv and Kherson region.
“We continue to detect here Russian shells, anti-personnel mines and other disguised explosive objects left behind by the Russian occupiers. Each defused mine is the saved life of dozens and hundreds of our people,” says Oleksandr Denisyuk, the head of the department of the explosives service of the capital's police chief.
During the stay of the police in the deocopcan territories, a huge number of dangerous finds were found and destroyed. The occupiers left many death traps, so the capital's law enforcement officers still have a lot of work ahead.
“During the demining of the territory, we also collected numerous proofs of enemy war crimes. Land demining continues and we urge citizens to be careful, in case of detection of unknown suspicious objects on the territory of their own yards, land plots, on roads or in forest park areas — immediately inform the special services,” added Deputy Head of the Kiev Police Kennel Center Vitaly Litvin.
