The capital's law enforcement agencies stopped the activity of another fraudulent call center
During the authorized search, the police found about a hundred equipped workplaces and 39 employees in the office premises.
The Shevchenko Police Department received a report that there is a hall center on Ivan Franko Street, in which so-called operators fraudulently seize the funds of Ukrainian citizens and foreigners. In order to document the incident, the investigative and operational team of the district police department arrived on the scene.
At the scene, law enforcement officers found about a hundred workplaces equipped with computers and telephones.
During the authorized search of the premises, investigators seized 614 units of computer equipment, 105 mobile phones and 229 starter packages of mobile operators. 39 “office workers” were also identified and interviewed.
Investigative actions are currently underway to identify other persons involved in illegal activities. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
