Metropolitan police detained a man for setting fire to 12 cars of servicemen
Thus, reports of arson of vehicles on various streets of the district began to be received to the Desnyansky department of the Kiev police. The police found that all the cars were damaged with the help of homemade devices.
The violator made homemade ignition devices with his own hands and attached them to military vehicles.
The police officers exposed the defendant “hot” during the laying of the ignition device to the next military car, already 13 on the account of the dealer. The attacker made the devices himself, they worked at a specified time. The detainee explained his actions by a negative attitude towards the military.
Currently, the investigation of his involvement in other crimes, including against the foundations of national security of Ukraine, continues.
Police investigators informed the offender about the suspicion of committing a crime. The court selected him a preventive measure in the form of detention. The defendant faces from 3 to 10 years in prison.
