This morning, a Russian missile hit a hotel in the city of Cherkassy, damaging the building. There are currently 10 victims, of which 6 are hospitalized. Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble. The police document a war crime.
Specialists of the police explosives service, investigative and operational teams, special officers, dialogue police and psychologists of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Cherkasy region work at the scene of the incident.
Patrols provide protection of the scene near the epicenter and block traffic.
In addition, police officers process calls and accept applications from citizens whose property is damaged. As of 15:00 hours, the police had already received more than 130 applications. 49 Cherkasy residents applied to the line “102".
