The case of the cross-border conscript forwarder was transferred to the court
Recently, an indictment against a resident of the city of Mukachevo, detained by law enforcement officers earlier this year for organizing the illegal transfer of a group of persons across the state border, was directed to the Vinogradovsky District Court.
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against the accused was carried out by the investigators of the Uzhgorod regional department of the National Police under the operational support of the operatives of the Chop border detachment and employees of the migration police of the GUNP in the Transcarpathian region.
Recall that in February of this year, border guards of the operational-search units of the Chopsky and Mukachevo detachments detained an earlier convicted citizen of Ukraine, who profited from the illegal transportation across the border of men of conscription age. Detain the offender and two of his “clients” near the village of Vilok, Beregovsky district, during the direct transfer of the monetary reward for the transaction. The on-site conductor received a $1,000 fee for the service from the “clients”. It also became known that before that he had already received 7 thousand US dollars.
For these funds, two men — residents of Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, had to illegally enter Hungary. At the same time, it was planned to cross the border passing through the river section on an inflatable mattress, which they had with them.
The events were carried out in the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine”.
