This was stated by Oleksandr Prokudin during the morning video call regarding the current situation with flooding in the Kherson region.
According to his information, in Kherson the water is kept at a mark of 5.35 m. It is observed that in the evening the water fell by 20 cm.
Thus, as of June 9, 3624 homes were flooded in 32 settlements of Kherson region.
2,352 people and about 550 animals were evacuated.
“Dear Kherson residents, if you live in a flood zone, leave immediately. Waiting there is not an option. Do not put yourself in mortal danger. After evacuation, you will be provided with everything you need,” said Oleksandr Prokudin, Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
