Employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine joined the project Stand together
Employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Odessa region took part in the regional presentation of the project “Stand together. Improving the support system for victims of war-related sexual violence.”
The project is implemented with the support of the European Union in Ukraine.
The aim of the project is to create an effective holistic support system for people, in particular women who have experienced sexual violence related to war, so that victims can receive the necessary assistance, taking into account international experience and regional characteristics, as well as effectively defend their rights in court.
The presentation was held jointly for Odessa and Kherson regions.
The participants of the event exchanged the experience of these areas in the implementation of the Regional Action Plan for the implementation of the National Action Plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 “Women, Peace, Security”.
