The investigating police informed the detainees about the suspicion of committing a criminal
offense under Part 3 of Art. 332 (Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment — imprisonment for a period of seven to nine years. Measures to stop illegal
activities were carried out by operational officers of Lviv and Volyn border detachments together with employees of the GUNP in Lviv region under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office and the support of the Crime Directorate analysis of the GNP in Lviv region.
