Cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic: building capacity in military and humanitarian spheres — Igor Klymenko
“Held an online meeting with the First Vice Prime Minister, Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakushan. We discussed the issues of direct cooperation, support of our projects by Czech colleagues and assistance in equipping combat units. Our dialogue is productive, the results of cooperation are effective,” the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko wrote in his Telegram channel.
The Czech Republic has sheltered hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens who have been forced to leave Ukraine. In Prague, with the active assistance of the Government of the Czech Republic, a mobile passport service has been operating since February this year. During this time, Ukrainians issued almost 23 thousand documents there.
“Our cooperation increases our capacity. We are talking about military and humanitarian aid. I thank my colleagues for their prompt response, timely response to requests and support of Ukrainian citizens,” the Minister said.
