Special officers of the NGU improve the skills of piloting UAV
The fighters of the separate special purpose unit Omega in the field train full-time and freelance crews of unmanned aerial aircraft complexes. So far, the special forces have practiced initial pilot exercises and those that will improve the skills of personnel in piloting UAVs day and night.
Unmanned aircraft have become not only the eyes of our troops, but also skillful weapons in the skillful hands of warriors. They make it possible to observe the enemy as imperceptibly as possible and accurately drop deadly “gifts” on their heads.
National Guardsmen undergo constant training, mastering new models of aircraft and improving already acquired skills on familiar techniques.
“Now there is training of personnel to provide reconnaissance of terrain and individual objects, adjustment of artillery fire,” says Kyrylo. “In addition, we are also practicing programming and movement of unmanned aircraft complexes along given routes.”
