The Special Aviation Detachment of the Operational Rescue Service of the Civil Protection of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine celebrates the 23rd anniversary of the establishment
On February 22, 2022, the Special Aviation Detachment of the Operational Rescue Service of the Civil Protection of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine celebrates the 23rd anniversary of its creation.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 22, 1999 No. 242 “On the creation of a special aviation detachment of the Ministry for Emergencies and for the Protection of the Population from the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster”, the Special Aviation Detachment was formed.
Today, as a result of organizational and staff events, the Special Aviation Detachment has been reformed into a powerful aviation unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which is designed to solve special problems of forecasting, prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies of man-made, natural and social nature, timely provision of state authorities with systematic and operational information for making relevant decisions on the territory of Ukraine, as well as abroad.
