Border guard and police officers received special ranks and shoulder straps from the President of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the highest military and special titles and awarded shoulder straps to servicemen of the defense forces and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
In particular, Vladimir Zelensky assigned the rank of commodore to the first deputy head of the regional department - the chief of staff of the Maritime Guard of the Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Nikolayenko.
The special rank of police general of the third rank and the corresponding shoulder straps were received by the Head of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine Yuriy Vyhodets, the Head of the Department of Patrol Police of the National Police Yevhenii Zhukov, the Head of the Personnel Department of the National Police Serhiy Kobets and the Head of the Main Directorate National police in Kherson region Igor Korol.
According to the Supreme Commander, the assignment of high rank imposes the obligation always, under any conditions, circumstances, moods and situations, to lead people to the main goal - to the victory of Ukraine.
“It is always so that the warriors - all these boys and girls of different ages and different generations - respect you, understand you, and you - them. And it is very important that everyone considers it an honor to fight for Ukraine next to you,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
The president added - respect for everyone, a fair assessment of merit and gratitude for the combat result are such components of motivation on which the energy of its other parts depends.
“The highest military and special ranks that have been awarded to you are a testimony of the state's respect for each of you, for your service, it is an assessment of your merits and leadership qualities, and this is the state's gratitude for your achievements,” the President said.
In addition, at the request of Volodymyr Zelensky, the participants honored with a minute of silence the memory of all the heroes who died in the struggle for Ukraine.
