Sopilka collects money for the army: 8-year-old Solomiya Reut fascinates the people of Kiev with music and asks to donate money to a combat car

A girl from the Dnieper collects money for Ukrainian defenders from the beginning of a full-scale war. Solomiya's father is also in the army, so the young musician goes out every day and plays to raise money for help as soon as possible.

“This is my job now,” Solomiya Reut describes her occupation.

Now she is a schoolgirl with her mother in Kiev on vacation, but here the soprano is always with Salt in her hands. In a few days, the girl managed to collect 25 thousand hryvnias out of 100 thousand, which are needed to buy a car.

The musician conquered the hearts of Kiev residents on Arsenal Square. Tired of work, people, hearing the notes of a pipe and seeing a little girl with a blue-yellow blanket on her shoulders, could not help but stop.

Earlier, the young volunteer closed the meeting with thermal imagers, body armor, first aid kits and drones. And all this thanks to the talent and the sleight of hand, which Sol actively promotes on social networks.

The girl dreams most of all about winning and returning her dad home from the war. So diligently every day he goes out to his “work”, which he adores with all his heart.

Taking advantage of the holidays in the capital, Solomiya and her mother decided to go to the burial place of the Hero of Ukraine - Dmitry “Da Vinci” Kotsyubail, who died fighting for a free state this year in March. So after another musical evening, the girls went to Da Vinci. Sol knows a lot about him, because mom already from a young age introduces the child to the Heroes. For Dmitry, the girl also played, her melody flew in complete silence over Askold's grave, as gratitude to every military man for the peace of our Ukrainian children.
