Fatal accident in Kharkiv region: experts and investigators examined cars from the motorcade of businessman Yaroslavsky
A thorough inspection of previously seized vehicles was carried out within the framework of the appointed comprehensive forensic examinations.
Recall: on the night of February 9-10 in the Kharkiv region there was a traffic accident in which a man died. The driver fled the scene. After conducting first-line investigative actions, it was established that cars from the motorcade of the businessman Yaroslavsky were involved in the fatal accident. As a result, two vehicles for conducting expert research were delivered to Kiev.
During the investigative actions, all objects of trace information that are relevant for establishing the truth of a traffic accident are removed. Also, experts found out that by the time of the withdrawal of these cars, some of their elements, namely, the front part, wheels and bottom, were washed. This indicates an attempt by those involved in criminal proceedings to destroy trace information that may indicate the involvement of cars in a traffic accident, and thus avoid responsibility for committing a fatal car accident.
Earlier it was reported that criminal proceedings have been opened on the fact of the disappearance of the clothes of a man killed in a car accident from the Chuguivsky District Department of the Kharkiv Regional Bureau of Forensic Examination. And already on February 14, material evidence was “found” in the office of this institution.
