Situation at checkpoints on the western border

Over the past 24 hours, October 8, almost 80,000 people and 20,000 vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova.
39 thousand people left Ukraine in a day. 24 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
More than 40 thousand people followed Ukraine over the past day, 36 thousand of whom are citizens of Ukraine. 79 trucks with humanitarian aid were registered.
