The situation with fires in ecosystems is aggravated: rescuers monitor peat deposits
The fire hazard period is gaining momentum. Spring has just begun, and hectares of open areas are already covered with fire. And this is not at all the result of enemy aggression. This is what we do with our own hands.
Therefore, in order to detect fires in time, the specialists of the State Emergency Service carry out monitoring for the detection of new foci of combustion. As part of special monitoring groups, with the help of quadrocopters with thermal imagers, the sites of peat deposits in the Buchansky district were carried out.
In certain areas where there have been frequent fires, after obtaining a special permit, air reconnaissance is carried out, burning places of dry vegetation are identified, dry vegetation is burned and potential violators are identified - palii.
According to the results of the survey, fortunately, there were no foci of ignition, but firefighters do not lose vigilance. After all, it is easier to prevent a fire than to eliminate it later!
