“The situation in the country requires decisive action, so I go to “Fury”, — volunteer from Nikolaev Marina
The girl has a medical education and is convinced that her knowledge and skills will be needed in the service. While in Nikolaev during active hostilities, Marina returned to medical practice and saved the lives of local residents in the intensive care unit of the infectious hospital. Now he sees himself in the ranks of the defenders of the country from the Russian invaders.
The girl's brother has been serving in the National Guard for more than five years, there are also many acquaintances - military and law enforcement officers. Their examples formed Marina's desire to join those who daily fight for victory over the invaders.
When Marina found out about recruiting for the “Guard of Offensive”, she decided to join the police brigade “Fury”. Her relatives supported her desire to serve in the assault police unit.
“At first, my mother reacted ambiguously to my decision, but my father and brother were supportive. It is said that my perseverance will definitely help me in the service. I believe that the situation in the country simply requires decisive actions and decisions, which is why I go to “Fury”, - says Marina.
The girl tells that the war, constant shelling of the city, daily shifts in the hospital, which often did not end in a day, military friends, their experiences — all this together made her look at her profession differently.
“I realized that I had to be there to provide qualified medical care on the ground and save our defenders. And when there was such an opportunity, I took my chance,” Marina said.
Testing the level of logical and analytical thinking and professional knowledge, military medical commission, checking the level of physical fitness, interview — all stages of competitive selection for the assault police unit the girl passed successfully. In the near future, Marina will go to study.
“Among the cohort of like-minded people, it is definitely easier to achieve the goal, and we have one goal - the victory of Ukraine, which I strive for,” the doctor confidently noted.
