Situation on the Western Border over the past 24 hours
On April 18, 68 thousand people crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova, which is 17 thousand more than in the previous day, and 16 thousand vehicles (up by 4 thousand).
39 thousand people left Ukraine last day. 25 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
Over the past day, 28 thousand people arrived in Ukraine, 24 thousand of them are our compatriots. 67 trucks with humanitarian aid were also registered.
For the attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine, 5 people were detained — 1 of them tried to cross the border illegally at the checkpoint, another 4 people were detained outside the designated crossing points.
In addition, 2 men, citizens of Ukraine, were not allowed to leave the country, because the border guards found signs of forgery of their documents, which give the right to cross the border to persons of conscription age. In the actions of men there are signs of offenses provided for by articles 336 and 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
We emphasize that the passage of adult citizens of Ukraine is carried out on foreign passports, as well as other, provided for by legislation and international treaties, documents and in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of January 27, 1995. № 57.
