Situation on the Western Border over the past 24 hours
During April 16, 51,000 people and 11,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine's western borders with the EU and Moldova.
28 thousand people left Ukraine last day. 18 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
On the other hand, 23 thousand people arrived in Ukraine over the past day, 21 thousand of them are our compatriots. There are also 22 trucks with humanitarian aid.
For attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine, 12 people were detained — 1 of them tried to cross the border illegally at the checkpoint, another 11 people were detained outside the designated crossing points.
In addition, 4 men, citizens of Ukraine, were not allowed to leave the country, since border guards found signs of forgery of their documents, which give the right to cross the border to persons of conscription age. In the actions of men there are signs of offenses provided for by articles 336 and 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
We emphasize that the passage of adult citizens of Ukraine is carried out on foreign passports, as well as other, provided for by legislation and international treaties, documents and in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of January 27, 1995. №57.
