Situation on the Western Border over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, May 2, 67 thousand people and 16 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova.
Last day, 35 thousand people left Ukraine. 22 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova. Over the past day, 32 thousand people followed Ukraine, 28 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine. 58 trucks with humanitarian aid were also registered.
For the attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine, 16 people were detained — 1 of them tried to cross the border illegally at the checkpoint, another 15 people were detained outside the designated crossing points.
In addition, 3 men, citizens of Ukraine of conscription age, were not allowed to leave the country, as border guards found signs of forgery of their documents giving the right to cross the border. In the actions of men there are signs of offenses provided for by articles 336 and 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
