The situation on the western border. Border guards stopped evader on inflatable mattress
The annoying despondent was going to storm the full-flowing Ysa on an inflatable mattress. A 29-year-old resident of Kolomyia, who tried to illegally enter the country for the fourth time, was detained in Transcarpathia by border guards of the “Business” department of the Mukachevo detachment.
Twice the Ukrainian “checked” the reliability of border protection in the Odessa region, and for the second time he came to Transcarpathia for the same purpose.
Despite repeated warnings from border guards and contrary to common sense, the pesky desperado planned to swim across the full-flowing Yew.
The seriousness of the intentions of the Carpathian was eloquently testified by the sailboat with which the man was going to “storm” a deadly water barrier. This is perhaps the largest craft that border guards had to see during the cessation of attempts to violate the border - an inflatable mattress.
And the man, who has a short stature, put on a children's pink hat to look like a child and distract the attention of border guards. To establish all the circumstances of the offense, the man was brought to the border unit.
In total, during the weekend, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped 13 attempts to violate the state border, as a result of which 22 violators were detained.
For the most part, the attackers tried to cross the border on the Ukrainian-Hungarian section. Border outfits of Luzhanka and Vilok departments detained 13 men. Another 9 were detected and detained by border guards in the uniforms of the Deilove, Yablunivka and Tyachiv departments.
The offenders were brought to justice under Article 204-1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”.
For this type of offense, liability is provided in the form of a fine from UAH 3,400 to UAH 13,600 or administrative arrest for up to fifteen days, with confiscation of weapons and means of committing an offense.
On December 3, 65 thousand people and 15 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
30,000 people left Ukraine last day. 17 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
Over the past day, 35 thousand people followed Ukraine, 32 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine.
