Situation on the Western Border over the past 24 hours
On April 12, 81 thousand people and 19 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova.
38 thousand people left Ukraine last day. 23 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
Over the past day, 43 thousand people followed Ukraine, 39 thousand of them are our compatriots.
73 trucks with humanitarian aid were issued.
17 people were detained for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine — 1 of them tried to cross the border illegally at the checkpoint, another 16 people were detained outside the designated crossing points.
In addition, 2 men, citizens of Ukraine, were not allowed to leave the country, since border guards found signs of forgery of their documents, which give the right to cross the border to persons of conscription age. In the actions of men there are signs of offenses provided for by articles 336 and 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
