Sisters of the deceased hero who defended Mariupol were awarded his Order
For more than 80 days the Ukrainian military held the defense of Mariupol. At the cost of their own lives and superhuman efforts, the defenders of Mariupol pulled back a large part of the enemy's troops.
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine for personal courage and selfless actions in defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to military oath, soldier Alexander Sergeevich Belchenko was awarded the Order “For Courage” II degree (posthumously).
The order was received by the sister of the deceased Julia. It was presented by the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration and the commander of the military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine in Chernivtsi.
“We will remember everyone and everyone. We will always be with the families of the fallen heroes. We will help you solve all life's adversities. Glory to the Heroes of Ukraine!”, — said the commander of the military unit, Colonel Vadim Shvets.
Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine take part in repelling armed aggression on all borders and directions where hostilities are conducted.
