Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have already issued more than 200 thousand driver's licenses for the first time
There have already been 200,000 more drivers in Ukraine this year. For the period from January 1 to July 24, all service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that provide services issued 203 254 driver's licenses for the first time.
To make this possible, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where there is an examination, conducted more than 473 thousand theoretical exams and almost 486 thousand practical exams.
Road safety is vital. In order to make the examination processes in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs transparent, the same and as similar as possible to the same examination processes throughout Europe, a project was launched to optimize the examination activities for obtaining the right to drive vehicles.
In the classes for theoretical exams in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, such audio and video fixation systems appear, which make it impossible for the existence of “blind zones”. Cars of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for passing exams of one of the categories - category B - are equipped with trackers, additional cameras and microphones, in order to also reduce the possibility of controversial issues to zero. In this way, driver candidates get more tools to challenge their exam results if needed. And the examiners have a record from different angles of everything that happened in the cabin of the vehicle during the exam.
The first in the project to ensure transparent conditions for passing exams were Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia and Odessa regions. Now, from August 3, Sumy, Rivne, Zhytomyr and Kirovohrad regions join them.
All these service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are transformed into examination hubs in their areas. In each of them there is already an opportunity to issue an online pre-registration ticket for a practical exam using the e-recording functionality. This reduces the likely number of visits to the premises of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from two to one. Previously, in these service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and so far in other areas, in order to register for the exam, you need to get a ticket at the terminal.
