Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recall the algorithm for re-registration of cars after the installation of gas cylinder equipment
Due to the rise in prices for gasoline and diesel, Ukrainians are switching to alternative fuels. One of the most common is gas. The demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment has increased significantly. Since the beginning of 2023, more than 28 thousand citizens have converted their cars and re-registered the vehicle.
Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs resemble the algorithm for re-registration of vehicles after the installation of the PBX.
First, contact the State Enterprise “DerzhAvtoTransnDiproekt” or the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and obtain approval documents (certificate of design approval) on the compliance of the vehicle with road safety requirements.
After the conversion of the car in 10 days, it must be re-registered in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
To receive the service, you need to have a pre-registration card. Online recording can be made on the website of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs using the E-RECORDING functionality. Also, the ticket for re-registration of the vehicle can be taken directly at the terminal, which is located in the premises of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
To re-register a car after the installation of the GBO, the person must provide the following documents:
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
- identification code;
- available certificate of registration of the vehicle;
- the act of acceptance and transfer of the car;
- certificate of approval of designs;
- certificate of conformity.
After re-registration of the vehicle, the owner receives a new certificate of registration of the car, where an entry is made about the installation of gas cylinder equipment on the vehicle.
Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs constantly remind that expert research is not mandatory. Therefore, the presence of a car is not mandatory. Expert research is carried out at the request of the owner of the vehicle.
