Serhiy Deineko visited the positions of border guards in the Bakhmut and Lyman directions
The head of the State Border Service personally verified the needs of border guards on the front line, how they are provided with technical means, weapons and property, checked the fortification of positions and the reliability of places of shelters.
“Thanks to your courage, today the border guard is a sample of honor, dignity, readiness for self-sacrifice! I am very grateful to you that now the border guards are in such respect among the whole Ukrainian people,” said the Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
Serhiy Deineko spoke with unit leaders and servicemen, who told about the situation in their areas, as well as about the actions of the enemy, who daily attacks our positions and tries to attack with assault groups. The border guards noted that together with other Ukrainian defense forces, they take all necessary actions to destroy the occupiers, including effectively using mortar calculations and other means of defeat and adjusting artillery fire from drones. The warriors noted that they clearly understand the tasks facing them, understand where and how the enemy is trying to advance.
“We need to reach an internationally recognized border, take it under protection and defense. And we must always be ready to give a strong repulse to the enemy, so that there is no desire to touch us, our country and our wonderful people at all,” Serhiy Deyneko stressed.
Together with the Head of the State Border Guard Service, Tatyana Slyuz, the Head of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine came to support the border guards on the front line. She talked with the defenders, was interested in their needs and expressed sincere gratitude for the protection of the country.
