Serhiy Deineko visited the positions of border guards in Lyman and Bakhmut directions
The head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineko was in the unit at the hottest area of defense of our state — the fortress site of Bakhmut. He personally checked the security of all units, discussed with commanders options for increasing the capabilities of border guards in daily combat work and technical means that in the conditions of war can give Ukrainian defenders an advantage over the enemy.
It was emphasized that border guards, as a component of the Defense Forces, are constantly increasing their combat skills and effectiveness in countering the enemy, because all components of the border agency - combat training, communication, security, logistics, direct their efforts to achieve a single goal.
The servicemen of the department reported in detail how they repel the constant attacks of the enemy and what means are used during the fighting. Separately, they emphasized interaction with the units of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, thanks to which enemy equipment, ammunition and infantry of the enemy are destroyed as much as possible.
“When you see you, when you see our simple guys standing up and defending our land, personally I have an incredible sense of pride and I'm really proud of all of you. Today, border guards show everyone how motivated they are, how much they love their state, how ready they are to defend it,” Serhiy Deineko stressed, addressing the defenders.
The head of the DPSU thanked each soldier for his courage and desire to destroy the enemy in order for peace to come to our land. He also conveyed words of gratitude from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko and presented the defenders with state awards and departmental honors.
“I want to thank you for your courage, for your indestructibility, for your authenticity. Once again, I ask you to take care of yourself, I understand that it is not easy, but a lot depends on you. Come back alive and unharmed,” added Serhiy Deineko.
