Fraudulent call center exposed by police officers in Kyiv
The capital's law enforcement officers exposed the activities of a fraudulent call center. He was located in an office building in the Golosiivskyi district of Kiev.
At the scene, law enforcement officers found more than a hundred equipped places equipped with computer equipment. During the investigation, 124 system units, 233 monitors, 192 mice, 187 keyboards and 135 headphones were seized.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - fraud committed on a large scale, or through illegal operations using electronic computer technology. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
Currently, law enforcement officers are carrying out measures to identify persons involved in a criminal offense in order to bring them to criminal responsibility.
