Sappers of the NGU defused about 12.5 thousand explosive objects in the Kiev region
Sappers of the National Guard relentlessly continue to deport the Kiev region. So far, they have already discovered and destroyed about 12.5 thousand explosive objects.
Every day, sappers find several hundred dangerous munitions left behind by the Russian occupiers and carry out their neutralization or destruction by detonating them at specially designated sites. It is now impossible to estimate how much Ukrainian territory is mined and how much unexploded ordnance remains as the war continues.
But the experience of other conflicts shows that the problem will be huge. The first female sapper appeared
in the ranks of the National Guard, who joined one of the engineering units of the National Guard. The National Guard gained experience and received training recently at a training center in Kosovo.
There she studied the specialty of sapper.
30-year-old Marina is already performing tasks to detect and detonate dangerous munitions, which pyrotechnics still find in thousands on the territory of the Kiev region.
