Self-preparation for the theoretical exam: how to pass and what is needed
Already today, the Main Service Center has the first test results after self-preparation. After all, the day before, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine came into force, which allows future drivers to pass a theoretical exam in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs without training in a driving school.
In Khmelnytskyi Oblast, the future policeman Dmitry Malyarenko was the first to successfully pass the theoretical exam in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs after independent training. Currently, Dmytro is a cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Due to active hostilities, the university was forcibly relocated from Kharkov to Kamenets-Podilskyi. Now the guy continues to study in safe conditions. I learned about the possibility of independently preparing for a theoretical exam for future drivers for a long time. Today I composed for the first time and successfully.
However, not all candidates for the driver managed to successfully pass the theoretical exam on the first attempt. Vitalina was tested at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Khmelnitsky. The girl was wrong on the last question. In 10 days, Vitalina will again try to pass the exam.
A successful result was also shown by the candidate for the driver Yevgeny. He passed the theoretical exam at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Cherkassy. The guy independently studied the rules of the road, consolidated his knowledge by training on an online simulator and in less than 10 minutes answered all 20 questions asked. Now Eugene is waiting for the next stage - passing practical training in a driving school.
And in the Chernivtsi region, Lyudmila tested her knowledge. She was waiting for the introduction of independent preparation for the theoretical exam and actively studied the rules of the road since the beginning of October. Her perseverance and desire to steer did the trick. The theoretical exam was passed in 5 minutes with one mistake.
To pass the theoretical exam, future pilots must answer 20 questions in 20 minutes. During the test, 2 errors are made, if more - the exam is not passed. This time is allocated so that the driver candidate can prepare better. Future drivers have an unlimited number of attempts to pass a theoretical exam.
To pass the test, future drivers contact any convenient service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They must receive an admission ticket through the e-recording functionality or through the terminal of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
They must take the following package of documents with them:
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a mark on the place of registration or ID card or passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad (provided together with a certificate of residence);
- medical certificate confirming admission to drive a vehicle of the selected category;
- identification number;
- an existing driver's license (in case of obtaining the right to drive vehicles of another category).
