Rescuer from Mykolaiv region Igor Ivasykov was awarded the award of the President of Ukraine “National Legend of Ukraine”
The Ukrainian nation is invincible thanks to its heroes, who, despite fatigue, fear, pain, selflessly care for others. Such as Igor Ivasykov — the chief of the 2nd State Fire and Rescue Department of the 2nd State Fire and Rescue Detachment of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area.
He was repeatedly involved in the elimination of the consequences caused by Russian shelling. Thanks to the actions of Igor from under the rubble of the regional state administration in Nikolaev, where an enemy rocket flew, 17 people were saved.
During the extinguishing of the fire of the tank with unrefined oil on the territory of LLC “Every” in Nikolaev, Igor as part of a link in a special suit L-1 entered the hot oil, where the combustion temperature reached more than 200°C, and fed the barrel to extinguish the fire, which helped finally Eliminate it.
For his high professionalism, selfless and courageous actions in saving people's lives, Igor Ivasykov received the award of the President of Ukraine “National Legend of Ukraine”.
