“Rupor” of Russian propaganda in Melitopol and organizer of pseudo-referendum in Kherson: two collaborators reported suspicion
Kherson and Zaporizhzhya police reported the suspicion to two collaborators.
In particular, during the temporary occupation of Kherson, a 60-year-old local resident took an active part in holding a pseudo-referendum and actively encouraged Ukrainian citizens to participate in the illegal vote on the accession of the Kherson region to the Russian Federation.
And since the occupation of Melitopol, a pro-Russian 46-year-old local resident has willingly joined the cooperation with the administration of the aggressor country. The traitor held the position of “head of the department for work with religious organizations of the Department of Social and Political Communications of Information Policy”.
The duties of the defendant included organizational and administrative functions: the execution of instructions of the illegal military administration, the control and coordination of the activities of religious organizations and the upbringing of a culture based on respect for the spiritual and moral values of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
During the events organized by the illegal occupation authorities, the man called on the public to hold a referendum in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Both collaborators were informed of the suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For committing a crime against the foundations of national security of Ukraine, the suspect faces imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
