Clarification of Resolution No. 793 on amending the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 168 “Issues of Certain Payments to Servicemen, Persons of Ordinary and Chief Staff, Police Officers and Their Families During Martial Law” dated 07.07.2022.
The changes only provide for a different approach in the payment of additional remuneration, not its cancellation.
Thus, a payment rate of up to UAH 30,000 was introduced in proportion to the service time per month, as well as depending on the place of service and the area of combat operations.
This will allow to apply a fair approach to wages and eliminate equalization, to make payments to personnel depending on the complexity of the tasks performed.
For example:
● In areas not classified as combat zones, the amount of payment of additional remuneration will be up to UAH 10,000;
● In areas defined by combat operations areas, the amount of payment of additional remuneration will be up to UAH 30,000;
● In case of payment of increased additional remuneration up to UAH 100,000, a coefficient will be applied depending on direct participation in hostilities, execution of combat orders, place of service, performance of other tasks and measures for national security and defense.
An illustrative application of the following changes on the example of the size of payments for certain categories of employees of the National Police:
explosives inspector:
● in the area where combat operations are not conducted, income per month 23 300 UAH, of which 15 000 UAH is monetary security, 8 300 UAH — additional remuneration;
● in the area of combat operations, income per month 101 600 UAH, of which 15 000 UAH is monetary support, 86 600 UAH — additional remuneration;
patrol police officer:
● in the area where hostilities are not conducted, income per month 21 800 UAH, of which 14 800 UAH is monetary security, 7 000 UAH — additional remuneration;
● in the area of combat operations, income per month 50 100 UAH, of which 14 800 UAH is monetary security, 35 300 UAH — additional remuneration;

This approach to the proportional payment of additional remuneration will be applied to the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Service, the National Police, as well as civil and civil protection officers of the State Emergency Service.
