Cultural events and communication with peers: children of defenders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs visited Croatia
On the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, children of injured, dead, prisoners and missing persons under special circumstances defenders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs visited the city of Zagreb of the Republic of Croatia.
For ten days, daily activities and excursions were organized for the children. These are sports and entertainment events, visits to national parks, museums, zoos. In addition, Ukrainians had the opportunity to communicate with their peers from Croatia.
Mostly children of police officers, officers and chiefs of the civil protection service and those who have been performing combat tasks on the line of battle since February 2022 went on vacation.
The organization of the visit was joined by the Association “Croatia Helps” (udruga Hrvatska Pomaže), Hrvatska pošta, Janaf, Jadrolinija and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.
