The project of preparation of identifiers of explosive objects has been launched
In July of this year, the SNS, together with the Eastern Europe Foundation and the Charitable Foundation of the Bank of Lviv, launched a project to prepare identifiers of explosive objects, the purpose of which is to raise the level of awareness of mine safety among the population.
During this time, about 400 people passed through short-term programs, including employees of the police, forestry, communal services and agrarians of the communities of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, which were under occupation.
Thanks to the training carried out and established cooperation with the State Emergency Service, the IDs conducted more than 200 information activities with the population on mine hazards and transmitted to the SNS staff more than 150 reports on the detection of explosive objects. Each such detected GNP is the life of our citizens saved.
The project continues and by the end of the year it is planned to prepare about 380 more identifiers from Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
