Online registration for the delivery of DNA samples for Ukrainians abroad has started
A preliminary record is necessary in order to determine in which countries and cities there is a request to open additional biomaterials selection points and attract specialists. The start of the campaign was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko in an interview for the TV channel “Rada”.
“To organize a high-quality search, we need more information. Our citizens can electronically fill out this questionnaire remotely or come to the commissioner in the regions,” the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs implements the project together with the International Commission on Missing Persons. The collection points will operate on the basis of foreign missions of the State Migration Service.
Biological materials will be handed over to investigators to the National Police for the search and identification of persons missing under special circumstances. Applications are accepted until January 15, 2024 at [email protected]

● your contact details (full name, phone number),
● the address of the unit to which you plan to contact and the approximate date.
Voluntary donation of DNA samples can speed up the difficult process of searching for the missing.
