Clarification of the DMS: the father can receive the child's passport if the mother submitted the documents for registration

When applying for a passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad, a child (under the age of 12) must indicate the other (mother/father, guardians, guardians, adult son or daughter, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother) who will receive the finished document.
In addition, any person authorized to do so by a legal representative can pick up a manufactured passport issued to a child under the age of 12 years, on the basis of a power of attorney certified in the prescribed manner.
At the same time, we remind you that every citizen of Ukraine has the opportunity to issue a passport from birth, and an ID card - from the age of 14.
