Russian forces shell 17 settlements in Donetsk region: shells kill and injure civilians
Over the past day, the police of Donetsk region documented 35 facts of violation of the laws and customs of war.
The occupiers fired on the towns of Avdiyivka, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Chasiv Yar, Hirnyk, Krasnogorovka, Velyka Novosilka, Kurakhovka, Nelipivka, Udchne, villages Varvarivka, Vremovka, Berdychi, Katerynivka, Umanske, Karlivka and Mayske.
The army of the Russian Federation attacked civilians with aircraft, drones, RSVR “Grad”, “Smerch”, artillery.
As a result of shelling, 38 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged — 20 residential buildings, an enterprise, a palace of culture, a garage, farm buildings, railway infrastructure, transport, power line, transformer substation, gas pipelines.
Avdiyivka suffered 12 shelling. The enemy hit the city with aviation, “Grad”, artillery. The Palace of Culture, the enterprise was damaged. There was no information on the victims.
From artillery and “Smerchiv” Russia shelled Konstantinovka. Private homes and critical infrastructure facilities were destroyed. A civilian was injured.
In addition, today after midnight, Russian troops again attacked the city. They were hit with S-300 rockets and jet artillery. A person died. The damage was done to apartment buildings and private houses, a shop, a police building.
As a result of artillery shelling, we have three wounded in the village of Katerynivka and one in Umanske.
Police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
