Russian occupation troops once again attacked Kherson region: there are dead among civilians
Last day, the enemy shelled the Kherson region with artillery, rocket systems of volley fire, tanks, aircraft and UAVs. The occupiers deliberately targeted infrastructure facilities. Thus, due to the actions of the aggressor in some settlements of the Kherson region, there is no electricity supply.
Yesterday, Russian troops carried out air strikes with guided bombs on the city of Beryslav, as a result of which 20 houses there were damaged, a 45-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were killed.
In addition, the enemy dropped guided aerial bombs on the territory of Mykolaivka, Kizomys and Stanislav villages. In Stanislav, a house of culture, a building of an agricultural society, 12 private houses, 6 shops, 2 pharmacies and cars were damaged. A 63-year-old local resident was fatally wounded during the artillery shelling of the town of Kozatske.
Under intense shelling was Kherson. From positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, the enemy pounded residential neighborhoods with artillery and rocket systems of salvo fire. The neighborhoods of Krabel, HBC, the center, as well as the suburbs suffered from massive powerful blows.
Shells damaged multi-storey and private houses, as well as the territory of the enterprise. In Antonovka, a 52-year-old local resident received a mine-blast injury and partial amputation of the upper limb during artillery shelling.
Investigative and operational teams of police, explosives technicians and forensics worked at the sites of the shelling. The police conducted an inspection of the scene, collected material evidence and recorded the consequences of strikes by Russian troops.
For all the facts of Russian aggression against the civilian population, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 “Violation of the laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
