Russian occupation forces attacked 12 settlements in Donetsk region
During the day, the National Police of Ukraine documented 20 Russian war crimes. As a result of the shelling, civilians were injured.
Under enemy fire were the cities of Avdiyivka, Bakhmut, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhovo, Toretsk, Ocheretyne and Zhelanne, the villages of Karlivka, Maksymilyanovka, Novokalynove and Predtechyne.
Russian occupation forces attacked with S-300s, Smerch RSVs, Hurricane and artillery. 14 civilian objects were destroyed, among them 9 residential buildings, kindergartens and enterprises.
With two S-300 missiles and artillery, the Russians hit Konstantinovka, where they targeted the industrial zone. Fortunately, civilians were not injured.
In Bakhmut, the occupiers continue to use scorched-earth tactics. As a result of artillery attacks, local residents were wounded. Damage to at least three private homes, a preschool and a business are known.
In Toretsk, the invaders struck a high-rise building, and in Novokalynov — on a private house. In both cases, civilians were injured.
In addition, information has been received about the death of a man in Vuhledar who was killed as a result of shelling on April 10.
According to police materials, the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. 221 more people were evacuated with the help of the police, since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation — more than 61,000 people, among them 7459 — children, 2,721 — people with disabilities.
