The family of the deceased border guard from Kamensky was presented with a state award
Junior Sergeant Alexander Lysenko died while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region.
Alexander was born on September 16, 1968 in the city of Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region. He worked in the construction sector and participated in the construction of many facilities in Kamenskoe.
On February 24, 2022, Alexander was on a business trip outside Ukraine. Having received the news of Russia's attack on Ukraine, as a true patriot, the man returned home and voluntarily arrived at the territorial center of recruitment and social support in order to replenish the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Lysenko was mobilized to the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and sent for further service in the Mogilev-Podolsky Border Troop named after Hero of Ukraine Senior Lieutenant Vyacheslav Semenov.
After pre-training, junior sergeant Lysenko, as part of one of the units of the border detachment, went to defend the Motherland in the east of Ukraine, where he courageously performed combat tasks.
On August 5, 2022, Alexander and his brothers bravely held the defense in the vicinity of the village of Avdiyivka. Constantly under enemy fire, our defenders heroically repelled the fierce attacks of the invaders.
However, during the next invasion of the invaders, junior sergeant Alexander Lysenko received wounds incompatible with life.
By order of the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, the deceased serviceman was assigned the next military rank of “sergeant” (posthumously).
For his personal courage and selfless actions in defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the Military Oath of Sergeant Lysenko Oleksandr Oleksandrovych was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree (posthumously) by the Decree of the President of Ukraine. Oleksandr remained friends daughter, mother, two sons and two daughters.
