Families of dead National Guardsmen received state awards

The head of the Eastern Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine Colonel Oleksandr Pivnenko presented state awards to relatives and relatives of the dead servicemen of the 3rd and 12th operational brigade, 15 Slavic regiment, a separate special purpose detachment of the Eastern TU NGU.

One of those awarded posthumously was a fighter of a separate special purpose detachment “Azov” of military unit 3057, soldier Denis Bondarenko. He died in May 2022 during the defense of Mariupol. In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine, for personal courage and selfless actions in defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, the guard was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree (posthumously). Denis Bondarenko's award was presented to his father Alexander Ivanovich.

“Your relatives are heroes of the Ukrainian people. We will definitely take revenge on our enemy for our brothers,” Colonel Oleksandr Pivnenko, the head of the Eastern Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine, addressed the hero guardsmen.

The relatives of the soldier of the 15th Slavic Regiment Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Rakosius, who died defending his native Kharkiv region from the Russian invaders, were awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnytsky III degree (posthumously).

The awards were also received by the relatives of Master Sergeant Sergei Alfimov, Sergeant Ruslan Zhyvolup, Captain Dmitry Tkachuk and Junior Sergeant Ivan Buslov.

The servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine participate in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation on all borders and directions where hostilities are being conducted to defend Ukraine. The enemy will be defeated!
